This time too, Aamir Khan has left his unique mark in terms of subject and acting. Everyone can have their own perception about this film, some will measure it with the scale of box office, some will see it only as entertainment. Also, one would associate it with unwarranted racism and one would try to understand it from an intellectual point of view.
Anyway, this movie is a perfect movie which can be called a remake or adaptation of the Hollywood movie “FORREST GUMP” which came out in 1994 and this American movie itself is based on the 1986 “Winston Groom” novel. 24 years of hard work of many people is also hidden behind the adaptation of this film into “Lal Singh Chadha” and becoming a part of Indian cinema.

Well, where there is entertainment in the film “Lal Singh Chadha”, there is an attempt to show the true incidents of the country symbolically, through real footage and some filming in a unique and transparent way, on the mutual hatred spread in the name of caste-religionism (called malaria) is also a strong message of grievous hurt and internal and external fraternity of the country.
That is to say, there is nothing in this film that is anti-caste or objectionable, which was suspected.
If we look at this film from the point of view of Punjabi cinema, what we are proud of is that it is a “semi-Punjabi film” in which not only Bollywood, but I would say a well-known Indian star among the select film stars from around the world Aamir Khan is a part of this film.
Secondly, the Sikh community should also feel honored that the lead character of this film, played by Aamir Khan, who speaks mostly in Punjabi, has been presented as a Sabat Surat Sikh. Aamir Khan should also be praised for the meaningful thought of raising the character of the Sikh community, which is already known as a symbol of the entire human brotherhood and its welfare, through this film.
The way in which the director Advait Chandan has presented the film story related to the important incidents in the country through the Sikh character of Sutradhar Aamir Khan has proved his foresight, simplicity, simple technique and wisdom in the interesting and well-organized way. .
This is the reason that no objectionable glimpses like the unnecessary controversies created in the minds of some people before the release of the film appeared in this film, due to which one got an opportunity to boycott it.
For the artistic presentation of the film, where the brilliant acting of Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chetanya and Manav Vij along with the narrator and director showed their brilliant colors, Mona Singh has also proved once again that “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi”!
The film’s rich background score by Tanuj Tinku, music by veteran composer Pritam and richly fitting lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya complete the musical aspect of the film.
The best thing about the film is that our Punjabi film writer and actor Rana Ranbir is also a part of this film as a dialogue writer which make us feel honoured. Apart from this, it is also heartening to see the actors of Punjab being a part of this international level film.
As per the subject of the film, its pace is certainly a bit slow, but the brilliant screenwriters Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni keep their grip on the audience. So this movie is a family watch without any hesitation, it is a wonderful, informative and unique movie for today’s young generation, which no movie buff should ignore.
