(Psne) After 49 years the Indian hockey team of men’s defeated Great Britain 3-1 in a quarterfinal match to qualify for the semifinals of Olympics. Indian Hockey team scored three field goals through Dilpreet Singh (7th minute), Gurjant Singh (16th) and Hardik Singh (57th) to stamp the win.
PV Sindhu too won the Bronze Medal in Women’s Singles Badminton. Indian shuttler Sindhu defeated China’s He Bing Jiao 21-13, 21-15 at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza.
It’s a second medal for India inTokyo Olympics 2021.
As Mirabai Chanu already baged India’s first medal, a silver in 49kg Weightlifting.
